Exctiting extra times ahead!

3 weeks in and believe me there ain’t nobody putting their hands on our imaginary Dragons!  That was rather cryptic of us, you’ll need to wait till our gig at the Sallis Benny Theatre to understand what we mean.  We’re all settling in to our new songs of this term and they are all proving to be belters, challenging, but none the less belters; you’re all in for a treat at the gig!

In addition to that the very talented singer, Mara Simpson (pictured above)  is kicking off her UK tour right here in Brighton at the Komedia on 30th April 2018 and here’s the thing, she has asked if we would like to join her on stage, singing behind her as her backing Choir, we said yes, Hurrah! You can get tickets on the Komedia website link below.

We’re back – and busier than ever!

Great to be back singing this term and what a busy couple of weeks it’s been.

Clearly everyone has made a New Year’s resolution to make singing part of their lives – and what better resolution could you make?  Our Brighton choir completely filled to bursting in just 2 weeks and with some great songs from Imagine Dragons, Reef and Massive Attack it’s no surprise!  It’s going to be a stormer of a term.

There are still places left in our Hassocks choir though so if you still have that resolution to sort out, do get in touch with us to book on to the last taster next week (Wednesday 24th)  You’ll be so glad you did!

What a weekend!

So last weekend saw the majestic SOTC Choir take one two towns and two venues over two crazy days!

The Hassocks choir were resplendent on Saturday night, teaching the audience to sing ‘Lean on Me’ and raising an incredible £443.48 for St Catherine’s Hospice.

The Brighton choir did their thing on Sunday at  The Old Market, and wowed the audience to the point that a two song encore was demanded!

It was so much fun, we can’t wait to do it all again…. Speaking of which, if you haven’t already, don’t forget to get your name down for next term!

Brighton concert has sold out but we’d like to introduce our amazing support acts for The Old Market gig:

Warsaw Radio: The bands name is inspired by the musicians who played on the Warsaw Radio station throughout the siege of Warsaw in 1939. We’re waiting in anticipation for their E.P launch set on 12/9/15 in Brightons Unitarian Church.

Check out their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/warsawradio?fref=ts

Warsaw Radio’s unique folk, rock, country infused style is brought togather by Brían McNamara (vocal/guitar), Pierre Leck (bass), Gerry Lewis (percussion), Nicola Bates (violin) and Sam Bance (lead guitar).

Check out their video: Warsaw Radio

Della Lupa is a Brighton based act created by Steph Brown whose native origins combine Italian and Vietnamese. This mixed heritage has driven Della Lupa’s unique sound. Whilst still managing to straddle the Pop music genre they mix Latino based tempos, Jazz melodies influenced by Asiatic scales and a lyrical Folk structure:
