We all knew that singing is an uplifting activity, but did you know that singing can boost feel-good chemicals in the brain! The BBC’s ‘Trust me I’m a Doctor’ discusses the benefits singing and how it can help with mental health issues, depression, mothers with post-natal depression; the Dr even says the benefits of singing in a group outstrip the mental health benefits of going to the gym! Basically, singing gives the brain a great mental workout! We can all certainly vouch for that!
Why not experience that for yourself? Come and sing together with us, on your own or bring your friends and family along to our second outing to the pub!

Every term we have the pleasure of supporting a local charity and this term it is the fabulous Brighton & Hove Food Partnership, a fantastic charity helping and supporting the vulnerable throughout the city. The guys there have set up a crowdfunding page to help raise funds for a well needed catering dishwasher and there are just a few days left to support their #SepTenner fundraising campaign. Over £1,500 has already been raised towards the dishwasher which will help volunteers escape endless washing up and focus on supporting participants. Here’s a link to their crowdfunding page if you want to donate too!
